Mars Wrigley Confectionery has launched a second M&M’S Flavor Vote in Canada featuring internationally-inspired flavors.

Canadians will be asked to choose between Mexican Jalapeño Peanut, English Toffee Peanut and Thai Coconut Peanut. The new flavors are available at select retailers, and fans can cast votes through June 24.

This Flavor Vote mirrors the campaign launched in the U.S. in January. American M&M’S fans have until May 17 to pick their favorite of the three global flavors.

Each is inspired by a different country and coated in M&M'S milk chocolate. Mexican Jalapeño Peanut is spicy with a flavorful kick, while English Toffee Peanut incorporates the delectable flavor of English toffee, transporting Canadians to England itself. Thai Coconut Peanut tempts with the savory and sweet taste of coconut, inspired by the beaches of Thailand.

"Last year's Flavor Vote program proved Canadians love trying new things and are not afraid of a little friendly competition,” says Brittany Compton, marketing director at Mars Wrigley Confectionery. “We wanted to bring back the joy of M&M'S Flavor Vote with three unexpected flavors. This year, our flavors were inspired by global flavors, reflecting a growing trend of travel and bold, adventurous flavors. We're so excited to introduce these new flavors to Canadians and to see how they cast their votes."

Canadians are encouraged to try all three flavors and cast their vote online, either at FlavourVote.MMS.com or on social media by tagging #VoteMexicanJalapeño, #VoteEnglishToffee or #VoteThaiCoconut. Each tag counts as one vote. Fans who vote online will have the opportunity to enter the international Flavor Vote contest for a chance to win exciting prizes.

The winning flavor will be announced in August 2019 and will become part of M&M'S line up, available at stores nationwide for an 18-month period.
