The Warrell Corp. announced several leadership changes in the new year, including a new executive v.p.

Kevin Silva was promoted to executive v.p., reporting to Patrick Huffman, president. Silva's responsibilities will expand to oversee all departmental operations.

The family-owned confectionery manufacturer, now celebrating its 50th year, made the changes according to the management succession plan it released in 2014.

His past leadership roles include the Pennsylvania Dutch Candies division, supply chain management, quality assurance and customer service and administration. He holds a BA in Economics from Gettysburg College and earned his MBA from Pennsylvania State University's Smeal College of Business in 2012.

Silva will oversee other Warrell executive team members, some of whom are taking on new roles:

Robert Bard, v.p. of operations. Bard joins Warrell this year with more than 23 years of experience in the manufacturing business. He will direct Warrell's manufacturing, maintenance, engineering and supply chain management.
