Combos is encouraging fans to think epic, and they’re staring with Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte.

The iconic Olympic medalist delivered a bag full of Pizzeria Pretzel Combos Tuesday, but he didn’t just walk around and hand them out on the street.

No, he filled a waterproof pizza-delivery bag with the baked snack, and then leapt from a moving watercraft into the Hudson River, swim-delivering the crunchy snacks to expectant fans at the Midtown Ferry Terminal.

Before diving off the boat, he reflected on the task at hand.

“I can’t believe I’m here in the Hudson River about to go swim and deliver some Pizzeria Pretzel Combos,” he said. “This is insane.”

Needless to say, it was one of the most epic pizza deliveries in history. He arrived to applause and cheers as he handed out the bags of combos.

“The water wasn’t too cold,” he said afterwards. “The taste of it wasn’t my favorite. I’m used to chlorine. But you know, it was a lot of fun.”

And now, through Sept. 30, Combos brand is asking fans everywhere to come up with their own epic idea for eating new 7 Layer Dip Tortilla Combos baked snacks.

Partnering with a pair of YouTube's finest filmmakers, Sam Macaroni and Alex Farnham, the company will select up to two of these ideas and bring them to life in a feature video.

To help inspire epic ideas along the way, Combos will share a new video each week of Sam and Alex's Epic Combo experiences.

Fans can check out these epic combo videos and share their own ideas at www.Facebook.com/COMBOS. And they can also follow the brand on Twitter at @Combos or #epiccombo.

"When it comes to tasty snacks, we have 'Good Combos  in the bag," says Craig Hall, general manager, Mars Chocolate North America. "The only way to make the snacking experience even better is to explore how people can use our baked, cheese-filled snacks to reach epic heights."

Combos are produced by Mars Chocolate North America, which is the North American chocolate operation of Mars, Inc.
