Aachen, Germany-based Thouet Maschinenbau will become the newest member of the Royal Duyvis Wiener Group.

Thouet

The machinery manufacturer, founded in 1947, will become a part of the Duyvis family, just two years and a half years after the Dutch cocoa processing supplier acquired F. B. Lehmann. Thouet is a leading producer of machinery and equipment for the cocoa industry including conches, melters, mixers, kneaders, pumps and cocoa powder pulverizing plants.

“Duyvis is excited to incorporate the refining know-how of F.B. Lehmann with the conching technology of Thouet,” affirms Miriam van Dijk, the company’s managing director. “Thouet Maschinenbau will be a great addition to the Royal Duyvis Wiener Group and we look forward to continuing serving our clients from bean to chocolate!” she adds.

The sales, business and technology development will be handled by the international Royal Duyvis Wiener team, in close cooperation with the present Thouet team and with Knops’ support..
