Locals and tourists alike in the Big Apple can add a new chocolate address for one of France’s best chocolatiers. La Maison du Chocolat has opened a boutique in New York’s iconic Plaza Hotel.
The branch, which opened May 23, is one of more than 20 gourmet boutiques currently being featured in the newly expanded and increasingly popular Food Hall within the hotel.
The boutique will carry some of La Maison’s classic items, including ganaches, pralines, truffles, macarons, bouchees, and hot chocolate.
The company’s new Brittany-inspired product, “A Summer by the Sea” collection, also will be available in the boutique, along with a seasonal collection of homemade ice creams.
The store is located on the lower level of the hotel on Fifth Avenue at Central Park South.
