Ferrero North America has announced plans to invest up to $214.4 million in expanding its plant in Bloomington, Illinois, set to become operational in 2023.
Cargill has expanded the processing capabilities of its sweetener plant in Cikande, Indonesia, to more than double the company’s production capacity for organic, non-GMO tapioca syrup.
The facility, joining TopGum's existing production plant, is expected to be fully operational in mid-2023 and triple the company's production capacity.
Cargill will install dry palm fractionation capacity at the facility, enabling the production of specialty fats for use in chocolates, coatings, fillings, compounds and other applications.
