Chocxo has named Christian Quie as vice president of sales, effective this month.

In this role, Quie will be responsible for strategic partnership building, leading the sales team to meet goals and driving new sales opportunities for Chocxo within North America.

“Our goal is to rapidly scale to drive awareness and sales across North America with a targeted focus on the United States,” Quie says. “I am extremely excited to join the Chocxo team as we launch our astonishingly delicious, organic and low in sugar chocolate portfolio. Our team is excited to partner with our customers to bring this superior consumer experience and help generate profitable volume growth.”

Quie joins the Chocxo executive team with more than 15 years of experience in consumer product sales. Prior to joining Chocxo, Quie launched BEAR Yoyos in the U.S., served as president of Maverick Snacks, and led sales at HumanCo & Cosmic Bliss. He started his CPG career with almost 10 years at General Mills, working across multiple categories and channels.

“As a growing, on-trend better-for-you chocolate company with a goal to be available everywhere where chocolate lovers shop, we are excited to announce Christian Quie as our new sales leader who will implement a growth strategy to propel Chocxo into new regions and partnerships with top retailers,” said Peter Higgins, president at Chocxo. “Christian’s unparalleled drive and years of experience will drive our availability with new retail partner relationships and grow our business through forward-thinking strategy and fresh ideas.”

In addition to Quie’s new role at Chocxo, the brand will partner with IGNITE Sales Management at Acosta, a sales management partner, to help Chocxo further develop and penetrate the U.S. market. The IGNITE team is a natural fit for Chocxo with its nationwide reach in the specialty grocery, natural and organic retail categories, and relationships with strategic retailers. Quie will oversee the integration of the IGNITE team with Chocxo’s internal sales team and will be responsible for implementation strategy.
