SmartSweets has launched Caramels, the brand's first non-fruity innovation with the lowest amount of sugar of all its offerings.
Made without artificial sweeteners, sugar alcohols or added sugar, SmartSweets Caramels have 94 percent less sugar than other soft caramels and contain only 1 gram of sugar per bag.
The Caramels are available for purchase in retailers nationwide including Amazon, Target and Whole Foods Market, plus direct-to-consumer at smartsweets.com. They retail for $3.59.
To date, SmartSweets core product line has featured fruity gummies, with the brand recently expanding into hard candy with its SmartSweets Jolly Gems and Lollipops launches. Caramels bring the brand into a new category, helping SmartSweets expand its audience.
