Registration now open for RCI’s 2021 Annual Convention &amp; Industry Expo

Event is slated to take place July 19-23 in Columbus, Ohio

Registration is now open for Retail Confectioners International’s 2021 Annual Convention & Industry Expo.

The event will take place in-person:

July 19-23
Greater Columbus Convention Center
Columbus, Ohio

Organizers said attendees will be able to, “Safely explore what’s new in the confectionery industry and take away effective business and production strategies to help you build a more successful business.”

The conference is uniquely designed for the retail confectioner, and it will include educational sessions, a two-day expo, confectionery tours and connection opportunities.

“While we’re excited to welcome members of the confectionery industry to our event, the health and safety of our guests are top priority. Which is why we are working closely with the convention center to best ensure safety protocols and preventative measures will be in place during our event,” said Angie Burlison, RCI Executive Director.

As part of this year’s educational programming, attendees will join the discussion with a panel of retail confectioners whose businesses have adapted and pivoted to not only survive, but thrive, despite the challenges presented in 2020 and today. Attendees will learn how members of the panel navigated the last year using strategic thinking and action, as well as what worked and what didn’t.

In addition, attendees will learn effective business and production strategies with thought-provoking education on the following subjects:

Build an Exceptional Team Through Coaching and Mentoring
Positioned for Growth
Nougat: An Artisan Approach

Educational sessions will be presented on Tues., July 20 and Wed., July 21.

While the convention is hosted by RCI, all confectionery professionals are invited to attend. A variety of ticket packages are available, giving attendees the option to create an experience that fits any schedule and budget. RCI offers a 1-Day Education Ticket for just $225 for those looking to focus strictly on education.
