ECRM Preview: New products slated to be showcased at event

ECRM’s upcoming Candy Planning: Everyday & Summer Seasonal EPPS is just the place to find out what treats and trends will be hot over the next year, and Candy Industry can’t wait to see the products debuting at the show!

The event, slated for Aug. 26-30 at the Hilton Anaheim in Anaheim, Calif., will pair manufacturers with retail buyers in brief, speed-dating-style business meetings. Candy Industry will also host the Buyers Choice Awards during the show, giving participating candy buyers the chance to sample and judge new chocolate, non-chocolate and novelty products. Larry Levin, executive v.p. of consumer & shopper marketing for IRI, is set to speak Sunday, Aug. 26 on the state of the U.S. confectionery market and will identify key trends around personalizing the consumer experience. He'll also discuss the evolving importance of e-commerce platforms.
