Taste TV awards

TasteTV and the International Chocolate Salon have announced the 2015 award winners for the title of the Best Chocolatiers and Confectioners in America Award. 

The winners are based on the combined total number of Gold and Silver Awards received by each entrant in the 2014 TasteTV Chocolate Salons in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Sacramento, Monterey, and Fall (SF), as well as in the standalone Chocolate Salon Award Competitions for Best Caramels, Toffees, Bars, Truffles, White Chocolate, Chefs Roundtable, and Best Bridal Chocolates.

Judges for all events and competitions include national and regional magazines, newspapers, blog editors, topic experts, local chefs and food & lifestyle gurus.

The winners are divided into four categories, including:

  • Six Star Awards Grand Masters
  • Five Star Awards Master Chocolatier
  • Four Star Awards Superior Chocolatier
  • Three Star Awards Exceptional Chocolatier

This year, 17 candy makers were named as Six Star Awards Grand Master, including:
