Walkers Shortbread is introducing a new gluten-free line of its famous shortbread. The company created the new shortbread by replacing wheat flour with a blend of rice flour, maize flour and potato starch while retaining the same butter and sugar content of traditional shortbread. The line comes in three flavors: Gluten-Free Pure Butter Shortbread, Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Shortbread and Gluten-Free Ginger & Lemon Shortbread.
Ingredients: (Chocolate Chip)Flour blend (rice, potato starch, maize, stabilizer: xanthan gum), butter, sugar, sweet chocolate chips (sugar, chocolate liquor, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, natural vanilla flavoring), and salt. Allergens: milk, soy.
