As the marketing manager for Ingredion Incorporated’s Confectionery segment, Ricardo Rodriguez supports the development and execution of business plans, positioning the segment for growth.
With more than 15 years of food industry experience, working mainly with carbohydrates in various applications, as well as holding key positions within research, applications and product development, Rodriguez is well suited to lead the segment.
He also applies his unique understanding of both consumer and customer market drivers and trends in order to optimize opportunities for the confectionery marketplace.
He collaborates with product development and other cross-functional teams to continually bring new solutions to manufacturing partners including cost optimization, quality control and on-trend, innovative product and formulation solutions.
Rodriguez has a B.S. in Biology from Caldwell College, an MBA from Northeastern University, is Six-Sigma certified, and a member of the ISBT, NCA, RCI, PMCA and IFT.
