Nassau Candy has added Unreal candy to its extensive catalog of products available for immediate order to retailers nationwide.

Made with up to 40 percent less sugar and only real food ingredients, Unreal  has "unjunked" America's favorite candies by using no chemicals, no artificial ingredients, no hydrogenated oils, no corn syrup, and no genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

"The benefits to eating and snacking healthier are obvious, but they aren't always fun," says Randy Goldbaum, v.p.of confectionery sales at Nassau Candy. "Unreal not only 'unjunks' the junk food market, but also lets consumers have fun doing it. Their playful branding is up there with the best of the best, and has definitely earned its place in the candy aisle."

Unreal debuted about a year ago, and recently updated the line, unveiling a bold new logo, a packaging redesign, and new product names and brighter colors on some of the chocolates..

Their five candy varieties, all available immediately from Nassau Candy, are:

  • Gimme Ones: Candy Coated Chocolates
  • Smooth One: Chocolate Caramel Nougat Bar
  • Nutty Ones: Candy Coated Chocolate Peanuts
  • Loaded One: Chocolate Caramel Peanut Nougat Bar
  • Double One: Peanut Butter Cups

Started by 13-year old Nicky Bronner who asked the simple question, "Why do our favorite foods have to be so bad for us?”, Unreal candy has garnered the favor of notable celebrities Matt Damon, Gisele Bundchen, Bill Gates, Tom Brady and others, sweetening Unreal’s retail popularity.

Nassau Candy was founded in 1920 as a neighborhood candy store. Today it is a private-label manufacturer as well as importer and distributor of branded specialty confections, gourmet foods, and fine perishables.
