Dylan’s Candy Bar launches sweet challenge
New York City confectioner hosts promotional contest celebrating National Candy Month
Dylan’s Candy Bar is challenging its customers to “show their wrappers” in honor of National Candy Month.
Since June 1, participants have been posting photos of themselves sporting the New York City-based confectioner’s apparel or holding anything that represents its brand on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest. The most creative entries will win a signed copy of creator Dylan Lauren’s book, Dylan’s Candy Bar: Unwrap Your Sweet Life, and a variety of candy.
“I celebrate the art and culture of candy every day, but June is so special because it is an opportunity for us all to join together and celebrate,” Lauren says. “I am excited for this contest and to see the creative ways our fans interact with the brand.”
Five winners—four weekly and one overall—will be selected throughout the contest. The company announced the first winner, Laura Arely Revilla, on June 11.
Dylan’s Candy Bar began in 2001 with the launch of its flagship store in New York City. The company, which sells chocolate, candy, popcorn and branded clothing, also has branches in Los Angeles and East Hampton, N.Y.
