Ferrero_logoF.gifFerrero has announced plans to construct a $190-million plant in the Parque Opcòn industrial park, in San Josè Iturbide in Guanajuato, Mexico.

The new facility is slated to manufacture the confectionery company’s new Kinder and Nutella products for the local market and for export to the United States and Canada.

Production is slated to start in May 2013 and the plant is expected to eventually employ 500 people. The workers would be in addition to the 600 people who already work for Ferrero de Mexico.
