My nephews like it when I send candy, but it feels better to give them something that’s as healthful as it is tasty, like Milkita lollipops from Unican. Available in four flavors- chocolate, strawberry, melon and original milk - each is made with 38% milk and contains 6% of the recommended daily allowance of calcium. Three lollipops are the equivalent of one 8-oz. glass of whole milk. The low-fat, 12-calorie pops contain one-third less sugar (1.2 g. per serving) than competitors. They also feature a mascot, Kody the cow, on the wrapper. Milkita fans can create their own characters, play games, download wallpaper and send e-cards on the company’s interactive Web site.
Ingredients: Condensed milk (fresh milk, skim milk powder, vegetable oil, sucrose), glucose, sugar, cocoa liquor (cocoa solids, cocoa fat), hydrogenated coconut oil, butter (milk fat, non fat milk solids, salt), tri calcium phosphate, artificial flavors (strawberry, banana, chocolate [contains sulfites], melon, milk), salt, emulsifier (distilled monoglyceride and soy lecithin), extracts (strawberry, banana, melon), antioxidant (bht), food colors (fd & c yellow 5, fd & c red 3, fd & c blue 1).
