The Hook: Nestlé has introduced lighter versions of itsButterfingerandCrunch candy bars by launching its Crisp Collection. The NestléCrunch Crispcombines layers of baked wafers, crisped rice and chocolate crème topped with airy crispies, while theButterfinger Crispfeatures layers of baked wafers withButterfingercrème. And beginning August 31, 2009,Baby Ruth Crispwill join the collection. TheBaby Ruth Crispcombines layers of baked wafers with caramel, peanuts and crème.
Ingredients:Baby Ruth Crisp: Sugar, peanuts, wheat flour, corn syrup, hydrogenated palm kernel oil, partially hydrogenated palm and palm kernel oils, nonfat milk, glycerin, hydrogenated coconut oil, cocoa, and 1% or less of whey, salt, artificial and natural flavors, baking soda, hydrogenated soybean, canola and cottonseed oils, peanut oil, emulsifiers (soy lecithin, sorbitan tristearate, lactic acid esters, mono- and diglycerides), high fructose corn syrup, carrageenan, caramel color, TBHQ and citric acid (to preserve freshness).
