THE HOOK: The Landrin brand gives “classic” and “gold” new meanings in the confectionery industry with the introduction of its “Waferattos.” Classic Waferattos are circular treats formed out of a thin wafer filled with cream. The outside of the wafer is sprinkled with coconut pieces and a California almond is placed in the very center of the cream filling. Gold Waferattos are also circular with a chocolaty cream filling. This wafer is coated with hazelnut pieces. Both chocolates are packaged in a “blossoming flower” box design to provide convenience for consumers. When the lid is removed from the box, its sides fold out and act as a serving bowl. 
INGREDIENTS: Gold – Sugar, vegetable fats and oils (palm), hazelnut paste, crushed hazelnuts, wheat flour, nonfat dry milk, whey powder, chocolate, calcium carbonate, soy lecithin, salt, baking soda, vanillin.
