Yildiz Holdings, the parent company of Turkish biscuit and chocolate conglomerate Ulker Group, has acquired the brand name of British chocolate producer Lovells, reported the World Bulletin. In a statement released by the company’s media agency, Ulker plans to launch premium chocolate and chocolate products into the Turkish market under the Lovells brand. The company had already begun developing  brand positioning and marketing strategies and is expected to launch the brand within the coming weeks. Last year, Ulker acquired Godiva, a premium Belgian chocolate company owned by Campbell Soup for $850 million.
