Stearinerie Dubois

Stearinerie Dubois was founded in France in 1840 as one of the first producers of stearic acid – thus the company name and the well-known white swan logo. The company today produces emulsifiers, sugar esters, MCT oil, mono and diglycerides, PGPR and other specialties used in confectionery as release agents, surface treatment and glazing agents.

“We are excited to be showing our confectionery ingredients range in the United States for the first time. Our specialties are world class products, and it is time we offered them in the Americas,” said Magdalena Mancini, sales director.  “For example, our pan oils are used by leading producers in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East, and if you have eaten a gel, a gummy, or many other types of candy made outside the US, we probably played a role.”

In the range of confectionery products, the company offers polishing agents, coating agents, anti-sticking, separating agents and other aids for panning, polishing plus belt release agents.  All the products are allergen-free, GMO-free and Kosher-certified.

Stearinerie Dubois has two production facilities in France, and a joint venture esterification facility in Malaysia where it is close to the feedstocks supply. They also have their own representatives’ offices in Shanghai and Tunis. In addition, a capillary network of agents and distributors cover the entire world. The company has been awarded Quality Standard ISO 9001:2000.

Stearinerie Dubois will be represented in North America by  Jim Echeandia, president of American Consulting Corp. of Savoy, Texas.
