Alyse Thompson worked as an intern at Candy Industry Magazine in summer 2012. She joined the staff full time as associate editor in August 2016 after a few years at newspapers in West-Central Illinois. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and Spanish from Western Illinois University.
It’s been 10 months since I joined Candy Industry, but it wasn’t until a week ago that I had a chance to partake in an event hosted by the Retail Confectioners International (RCI). I didn’t realize it, but I was in for a treat.
