Seattle Chocolates Opens First Retail Store

Seattle Chocolates, a Seattle-based chocolatier, plans to open it first retail store Nov. 5.

The 20-year-old company, which specializes in all-natural and kosher truffles and truffle bars with a unique meltaway smoothness, will host a grand opening event to mark the occasion.

The new store, located at 1180 Andover Park West in Seattle, features a gallery space created within a 65,000-sq.-ft. chocolate factory and boasts bare concrete floors and gleaming white tables that display more than 20 truffle varieties, 20 chocolate bars and brightly colored gift boxes. In addition, artworks created from the wrap designs and even couture dresses made in bar patterns, complement the artistic gift boxes.

The store will sell product seconds as well as new gift box collections and offers free tastings. In addition, the store’s Gift Concierge provides white glove service for wedding planning and corporate gifts, including coordinating colors to match a theme, creating personalized messages and drop shipping to multiple addresses.
