Endangered Species Chocolate hires new R&D manager
Chocolate makers also promotes new Midwest sales manager to help expand brand in Eastern Canada.
That relationship eventually led to the chocolate company bringing Whitney Bembenick on board.
“We are pleased to add Bembenick to our team,” says Curt Vander Meer, Endangered Species Chocolate’s ceo. “She has been our key contact at Sensient in the development of some new products that we will be launching in the next year and we feel confident that she will prove to be real asset to [Endangered Species Chocolate].”
Bembenick’s new role will include developing product innovations for the company’s existing product portfolio and expanding product channels for existing and new products. She is a Purdue University graduate, and has more than five years of experience in the food industry, and had extensive chocolate training while at Sensient.
Endangered Species Chocolate also recently promoted Stephanie Wroblewski to Midwest Sales Manager.
Wroblewski was most recently a sales coordinator for the company and her new duties will include increasing sales growth and revenue in the Midwest region along with expanding the brand in Eastern Canada, which has seen tremendous growth in the past year.
Wroblewski’s previous work experience includes working in management positions at C.P. Morgan and Officeworks, Inc.
”With her experience in the sales coordinator role, Wroblewski already has a great grasp of the territory,” says Vander Meer. “We’ve seen what she’s capable of thus far and know that her knowledge of the brand will be a strong asset in her new position.”
