Not even a hurricane could stop this New York City-based confectionery shop from seeing the potential the Jersey coastline has for business.
Alison Nelson’s Chocolate Bar has announced the opening of its newest store in Manasquan, N.J. Located at 140 Main Street, the coffee lounge and bakery offers a classic menu of hot and iced drinks, as well as fresh baked goods. The store also houses the company’s award-winning truffles, signature bars and toffee, all produced on site.
In celebration of the shop’s opening, Chocolate Bar created a video featuring founder Alison Nelson’s six-year-old son, Sailor, showing off his best tap moves. The company hopes that among the area’s rebuilding, its Jersey store will become a “rocking” staple in the community.
Founded in 2002, Chocolate Bar takes an artful approach when creating its chocolates, including high-quality ingredients, unusual flavor combinations and unique packaging. With numerous awards including Timeout New York's "Best Chocolate Store" and Wallpaper Magazine's "Favorite Stores Around the World," Chocolate Bar continues to churn out reconfigured, new school products.
