Andrew Jacobs, a former executive at the Hershey Co., has joined the ownership group of Wolfgang Candy Co.

In addition to becoming an equity owner, he will also serve as president of the company.

“I am excited to be joining the team at a time when we are introducing a line of new all-natural chocolate products and have a clear vision for the brand and the organization,” Jacobs says.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience to his new role, Jacobs will focus on Wolfgang’s national and regional sales and marketing efforts. He will also collaborate with Benjamin McGlaughlin, Wolfgang’s ceo, on strategic initiatives and business planning for the future of the confections company.

“The addition of Andy rounds out our leadership,” McGlaughlin says. “Wolfgang is now poised to enter new markets and introduce our premium chocolate line to more audiences across the country.”
