Nestlé plans to invest more than $10 million into production and development at the Ruza Confectionery Factory in the Moscow region of Russia. The funds will be put toward raising production capacity and introducing new products, said the factory’s general director, Alexander Pavlov. He also stated that the new production lines should raise the factory’s capacity by more than 40% (it currently produces 20,000 tons a year).
