BOSTON, March 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Boston's oldest chocolatier is hopping with excitement because Easter and Opening Day at Fenway Park are just weeks away. To celebrate the holiday and the 2008 baseball season Phillips has created a one-of-a-kind Red Sox Easter Bucket filled with handmade chocolate and seasonal treats. Non-holiday Red Sox buckets are available for those who do not celebrate Easter, as well as throughout the baseball season.

Perfect for Red Sox fans young and old, the collectable Red Sox Easter Bucket is chalk full with a milk chocolate fudge-filled Easter Egg; a solid milk chocolate rabbit; milk chocolate baseballs; jelly beans; caramel popcorn; Peeps in a Puddle; a Red Sox plastic tumbler; Red Sox temporary tattoos; and two Red Sox pencils. The Red Sox Easter Bucket is $55 and is available while supplies last.

Traditional Easter favorites are also available -- the shelves at Phillips Candy House are lined with thousands of chocolate rabbits, and colorful Easter baskets filled with treats such as old fashioned fudge; chocolate turtles; jellybeans; marshmallow peeps and speckled malted milk eggs. Phillips Candy House even has baskets made of chocolate. Other seasonal favorites and Easter gifts include soft and cuddly Easter toys, foil wrapped Easter eggs in milk, dark, white, crispy milk chocolate and peanut butter filled, and an extraordinary selection of traditional chocolate covered eggs filled with vanilla cream yolk, chocolate fudge, coconut cream, rocky road fudge and chocolate heavenly hash -- all handmade by Phillips Candy House.

Phillips Candy House has two locations -- 818 Morrissey Blvd. in Boston and in the South Shore Plaza in Braintree. Order on line at phillipschocolate.com or call 800-722-0905. Phillips Candy House Boston store will be open Easter Sunday from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Check website for Easter Bunny appearances.

Since 1925, Phillips Candy House has delighted generations with New England's finest selection of hand dipped milk and dark chocolates, sugar free chocolates, old fashioned fudge, chocolate turtles and hand roasted premium nuts. The chocolates and other confections at Phillips Candy House are made by hand in small batches, using only the finest and freshest ingredients, ensuring purity and flavors at their natural best.
