Kraft sells biscuits business, chocolate trademark…

Kraft Foods Inc. has agreed to sell its Artiach biscuits business in Spain to Panrico, a private equity firm, and the Balaton chocolate trademark in Hungary to Nestlé. The sales should complete the requirement declared by the European Commission that Kraft could purchase Group Danone’s global biscuits business as long as the company sold trademarks in Spain and Hungary.
