Last month, Belgium-based Hacos NV purchased Collmann GmbH’s chocolate branch. Founded in 1938, Collmann manufactures machinery for the production of chocolate hollow figures. Its range of product lines includes 4- to 30-arm spinning machines, depositors and cooling tunnels.

During the past few years, Collmann has focused primarily on its tire business, which includes producing tire service machines, mounting machines, buffing and building machines for tire retreading and the like.

Hacos’ acquisition of Collmann’s chocolate business guarantees continuity for customers since there are more than 1,000 units in the world currently in operation.

All new machines and spare parts now will be available from Hacos, which produces a range of flexible equipment for the production of high quality chocolates.

For more information about Hacos, visit www.hacos.com.
