Created by fledgling artisanal chocolatier NYDC Chocolate, Cocopotamus is a spin on that wonderful American tradition: old-fashioned fudge. Set to launch regionally over a seven-state area (Colorado, Wyoming, Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi), Cocopotamus is a richer, creamier and less sweet chocolate fudge made with dark chocolate and infused with exotic flavors. Available in 18 flavors, the all-natural product contains no preservatives, corn syrup, wheat or gluten. It is handmade in artisanal, small-batch fashion and then hand-dipped in dark chocolate to form fudge truffles.
Ingredients (Cupcake variety): Dark chocolate (cocoa paste, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, natural vanilla), dark chocolate shell (cocoa paste, sugar, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, vanilla), whole milk, sugar, inverted sugar (natural cane sugar), dutch process dark cocoa powder, pure vanilla extract, ascorbic acid (vitamin c), sea salt. Frosting: White chocolate (sugar whole milk powder, cocoa butter, soy lecithin, natural vanilla), natural color from dried carrot, dried beet and spice.
S.R.P.: $24-$30 for a 15-piece box of assorted fudge truffles
