THE COMPANY: Oak Leaf Confections, a division of SweetWorks, Inc., Buffalo, N.Y.
THE PRODUCT: Peanut free P-Not Butter-flavored Sixlets
THE HOOK: SweetWorks introduces P-Not Butter Sixlets, which feature a real peanut butter taste without containing any peanuts. The company uses a secret roasting process to deliver a peanut-butter treat for consumers who can and cannot eat peanuts. In addition, the company introduces More Chocolatey Sixlets candy, which includes an improved recipe and packaging. The candy shell has been altered to give a sweeter taste and crunchier texture. The chocolate centers of the candies also carry a stronger chocolate flavor.
INGREDIENTS: P-Not Butter variety: Soy flour, sugar, dextrose, partially hydrogenated palm kernel oil, reduced protein whey (milk), corn syrup, artificial flavor, corn starch, colors (include Yellow 5 & 6, Red 3 & 40, Blue 1, titanium dioxide), lecithin (soy), tapioca dextrin, salt, carnauba wax. May contain gluten.
