THE PRODUCT: Popsters
THE HOOK: Privately-held Dale and Thomas Popcorn takes its caramel corn to the next level by dipping it in premium chocolate and other ingredients to make Popsters. Invented by Dale and Thomas Popcorn and Jeff Rubin, creator of FAO Schweetz, Dylan’s Candy Bar and IT’SUGAR, Popsters are currently offered in dark chocolate, milk chocolate and peanut butter. The company plans to release additional flavors in the upcoming months. The Popsters, which have a patent pending, will be the signature product in Dale and Thomas Popcorn’s Popfection Collection.
INGREDIENTS: Milk: Sugar, cocoa butter, chocolate, whole milk, corn syrup, popcorn, molasses, salt, soy lecithin, corn oil, modified starch (tapioca), coconut oil, natural and artificial flavor, confectionery glaze.
S.R.P.: $2.99 for a 4-oz. bag; $3.99 for a 6-oz. bag.
