“Natural” is perhaps the hottest trend with consumers today, as more and more households attempt to get back to health and basics by supporting natural foods.

Americans still crave products that satisfy their pallets. And to cater to this craving—while at the same time addressing the “natural” trend—many food product developers are switching to natural sugar as the sweetening ingredient in their products.

Pure sugar is the natural choice, and the sweet standard to which all other sweeteners compare. And at just 15 calories per teaspoon, with no additives, preservatives, or chemical alterations, adding it to your products is the “natural” way to rise above the competition while offering the clean label your customers are looking for.

At United Sugars, we make it easy to add natural sugar to your products. We provide high-quality sugar products and reliable deliveries to your plants nationwide. Our focus on anticipating your needs makes United Sugars the “natural” choice for worry-free sugar.

MacIntyre Chocolate Systems have been building enrobing machines for the last 20 years and have a range of machines that will bottom coat only or fully coat products, either with chocolate or compound.  Their standard range starts from 400mm wide up to 1.5 meters wide.  The machines can be PLC-controlled or manually controlled and can be manufactured in mild steel or stainless steel, depending on the specification required.

Their enrobers can be fitted with an infeed table and outfeed table, with attachments for biscuit turning, etc.  The unique design they have, compared to their competitors, is that the wire mesh belt can be inclined and locked to allow easy cleaning of the tub when changing from one product to another.

In addition to this range of enrobers, they manufacture a cheaper range from 250 mm wide up to 400 mm wide.  These are entry-level machines and are ideal for small bakeries and confectioners who do not have the budget to justify the larger machines.  They can also be used in laboratories.
